         After that i have learned about management information system which is integrated collection of people, procedure, database and devices which provide managers and disision maker with information to help achieve organizational goals.

In addition to this, we have learned about other information system as

This week i have learned about System which are set of elements or components and Set of Components working together to achieve a common set of objectives. Moreover, I have learned about the relationship of IT and IS.

Presentation

This friday which was our fourth week of study,  we did not study anything becuse of presenation. Every group have done their presentation except my group becuse of our group membrs was in marshal art compitation. I talked to our lecturer he said we will do next class which was good chance for us to get that mark.

INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY

Third week was very great week for me for learning ICT. Firstly,  because of holiday we continued our previoust lesson which was about DATA. Because, our class was three hours we continue class with new topic which is  information and communication technology. We have learned about using the ICT in daily life which was great thing for me.

Todays, education are using IT and ICT. Information and communication technologies (ICTs) which include radio and television, as well as newer digital technologies such as computers and the Internet have been touted as potentially powerful enabling tools for educational change and reform.

Introduction to information technology

During second week I have learned about information technology. Every computer which people use has got information. From information technology i have lreaned IT architecture and IT infrustructure.
IT architecture.
A high level map or plan of the information assets in an organisation.Integrates entire organisation’s business needs for information, infrastructure and applications.

IT infrustructure.

The physical facilities, IT components, IT services, and IT personnel that support an entire organisation.

IT components: computer hardware, software, and communications technologies.

IT services: Data management, systems development and security management.
We learned about stages of Globalization.

•Globalization 1.0 (from 1492 to 1800)

eg. Christopher Columbus

•Globalization 2.0 (from 1800 to 2000)

eg. in first half. Railroads build.

      second half. Notebooks and Smartphones.

The global economy began appearing during this era.

•Globalization 3.0 (from 2000 to the present)

Around the year 2000, we entered Globalization 3.0, which was driven by the convergence of ten forces that Friedman calls “flatteners”.

-In era 3.0, the global, Web-based platform has emerged. 

 

INTRODUCTION

This was my firs week of second smester during class our lacturer tell us about our schedule so that what will be happen this smester and what should we study. He intruduce it as this;
Course Outline,AssessmentTimetable, Lecturer’s information and so on.
 
Because of our schedule time our ICT class would be only one day but 3 hours. Therefore, our lacturer start class after introducing new smester schedule. 
our first topic was about diferenses of DATA and Information. I have learned that Data is input while Informetion is output. For example, Folder is Data but inside there are documents which are Information.

 Moreover, we studied about the benefit of information technology (IT) in todays economy. It has fundamentally changed  the economics and bussineses ways in a widely. The IT developed more will develope economy also because, it will fors organization to come up with new ways which is It.
