Databases

During this week I learned about databases. We studied about creating databases in Microsoft Access. Its structure makes the information easy to select, sort, display, and print in a variety of formats.  After learning about this we had activity which we should finish it in class. From this activity I learned how to use Microsoft Access this was my first time but i learned it very fast and I finished my task succesfully. After finishing activity, because time was already near by high time our lecturer tell me that I can go.

Week 10

During this week we got our new asignment which was creating website by Google site. In this class we just devide by groups and continued creating this website. My group include three students which is me Nasridin, Saajid and Edvin. I start to create new gmail in order to give username and password to others. When I created I give it to them and we discussed how to do. We have finished first page there then our class finished and we decided to give every graoupmate one page to create by their own.

Trends in the Internet and WWW

During this week we study about many important thing about internet

For the frist things we learned about differences of Internet and WWW.

-Internet Functions a  transport mechanism

-Internet enables people to access data in other organization and to communicate, collaborate and exchange information around the world, quickly and inexpensive.

WWW is an application that uses those transport functions. Used service on Internet.

In addition to this i learned about WEB 2.0

Web 2.0 is the popular term for advances Internet Technology and applications including blogs, wikis, Really simple Syndication (RSS) and social bookmarking.

Apply relational database design approach and implement it using Microsoft Access or other DBMS

This is 8th week of our class and in this week we studied abou Apply relational database design approach and implement in using Microsoft Access or other DBM. During this week I have learned about Database and DBMS and types of Databases.

This was 7th week of our studies and this was after test which we took. During this day my lecuturer tell us about our result. Our class as usual it was in Library. Our lecturer call every students individually in order to tell them their mistakes which they have done. Therefore,  I wait about one hour and during this time I just used internet. After that i saw my result and he told about my mistakes in test. Becuse of many students all of our classmate wait untill 12:30 but lastly they finish it as well and know their mistakes so that they shoud not do it in another test.

         After that i have learned about management information system which is integrated collection of people, procedure, database and devices which provide managers and disision maker with information to help achieve organizational goals.

In addition to this, we have learned about other information system as

This week i have learned about System which are set of elements or components and Set of Components working together to achieve a common set of objectives. Moreover, I have learned about the relationship of IT and IS.
